    • A: Wheel assemblies and frame design has been optimised to maintain a low boat height for ease of launching in shallow waters, whilst retaining sufficient ground clearance to tackle difficult terrain and beaches

    • A: Yes, guide poles come standard on all Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ models. Working together with the hull-supporting bunks, they guide your boat smoothly into the snubbing block with an automatic bow latch and remote cord release. This ensures a precise, secure capture every time—no need to step off your boat during retrieval.

    • A: The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ is designed to handle boats from 4.5 m up to 10 m / weighing up to 7000 kg.

    • A: Yes, the propeller has sufficient clearance when using the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™, just as you would on a standard boat trailer.

  • A: Yes, inline and wobble rollers are available as optional features for all Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ models.

Performance & Operation

    • A: The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ has an approximate operational range of 8 km, depending on the load and terrain. It charges via a standard household plug with a fast charger. Remote charging is not available.

    • A: While solar charging isn’t currently available for the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™, Tectrax is developing a solar charging system, planned for release in 2026.

    • A: While a winch isn’t required for typical use of the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™, it comes standard on all models.

  • A: Yes, the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ frame can be customised to suit unique hull designs.

  • The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ has a remote control range of up to 500 m, provided it remains within line of sight.

  • A: The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ remote can be charged using any USB-C charger and provides a battery life of over 4 hours.

    • A: All components of the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ use marine-grade materials, including hard-anodized alloy and 316 stainless steel, with built-in protection against dissimilar metals. They have been salt-spray tested and proven in service for over six years. An integrated washdown system can also be added for extra peace of mind.

    • A: Yes, it is possible to add them to the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™, and it’s a straightforward installation for an additional cost.

    • A: Punctures on the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ can be repaired like car tires. Traction is managed with an E-differential system, and in case of a breakdown, Tectrax provides full support.

    • A: Annual inspections and wheel hub seal replacements are recommended. The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ comes with a 3-year warranty.

  • A: Security is ensured by the large scale of the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ and the remote-control system, which makes it impossible to operate or move without prior training and knowledge.

    • A: Yes, the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ can sit idle for up to two months, provided the batteries are stored at 60–80% charge.

Maintenance & Safety

    • A: Yes. The Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ has a brake override feature that releases the parking brakes, and an emergency towing eye at the front allowing the boat to be recovered or slowly towed in an emergency. This function is designed for recovery only and is not intended for regular towing or road use.

    • A: A flashing warning light is included, but the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ is not designed for public road use. Registration is at the owner’s discretion.

Towing & Road Use

    • A: Standard production time for the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ is approximately 3–4 months from order. Place your order early to secure your build slot.

Ordering & Delivery

    • A: The remote controller for the Boat-Launcher by Tectrax™ is designed and manufactured in-house by Tectrax.
